re-circulated mission statement, RFC
In the endless international game of rock/paper/scissors, paper beats rock. The enemies of the west are currently well stocked with paper and the west, mainly the US, is currently well stocked with rocks. So we have a problem.
The west needs a good pair of scissors.
I view The 910 Group as being in the scissor business. What that means exactly is still being worked out. Does it mean manufacturing scissors? Being them? Collecting and distributing them? I guess individual group members have to work that question out for themselves.
The group is in constant debate about its identity and purpose. Here's the original mission statement and here's a more recent longer version. In my last post, I talked about arriving at a consensus about social values and purpose. It's good to see that process continuing.

I don't want to start too harsh, but. . .
Enough twiddling the Mission Statement. Take Baron Bodissey's, at Gates of Vienna, advice; try getting a big media outlet. Come up with ideas, and a fight plan. Start debates, brainstorm, throw out ideas.
Time to take action.
All of that goes on. I don't discuss most of what takes place in the forum because this blog has a much more narrowly defined purpose. But talking about the mission statement fits that purpose.
I do have some fireworks planned for the blog itself. stay tuned.
I've tried signing up for your group, and the Yahoo address you give is, apparently, no longer available. Do you have a new one?

How is this different from other blogger groups doing the same exact thing?
(Infidel Bloggers' Alliance, Freedom's Zone--also international, etc.)
Wouldn't it make sense to just merge with Freedom Zone or something?
